Spotlight: Pirates and Prejudice by Kara Louise + Giveaway!!

Because Darcy's Voyage, Only Mr. Darcy Will Do, Pemberley Celebration, and her other novels are not enough, Kara Louise is giving readers yet another delightful diversion. Grab the helm, and get ready to sail the open sea in Pirates and Prejudice

After Elizabeth Bennet refuses Mr. Darcy's offer of marriage, it takes a heavy toll on him. He withdraws to London and disappears near the docks, away from family, friends, and acquaintances. When he is mistaken for an escaped pirate, he is thrust into an adventure he would never have imagined. Will this be what he needs to forget the one woman he had come to love?

When her aunt and uncle have to cancel their plans to tour the Lake District, Elizabeth Bennet has the opportunity to sail to the Isles of Scilly with her father. After a pleasant visit, the voyage home brings storms, a shipwreck, and pirates! When she is rescued by gallant Captain Smith, she finds herself inexplicably drawn to him. What will she do when she discovers he is the very man whose offer of marriage she refused just a few months earlier?

*Be the first to get your hands on this treasure! Pirates and Prejudice will be released on June 1!! What a great start to summer!

  4. What intrigues me is an excerpt that I read about it during September's Austenesque Extravaganza. I've been hooked ever since...and that it is by Kara Louise. That alone is enough said for me! Don't enter me in the giveaway as I will be getting my own copy. I can't wait for your interview May 30th.

  5. I love variations like this--Darcy as a pirate? I love seeing how the authors change the characters to fit the variation, but how they keep them still the same characters we know and love. And Kara Louise is one of my favorite P&P authors anyways, so this will be fantastic! Can't wait to read it. :)
