Vlog: Falling for Mr. Darcy by KaraLynne Mackrory

Mr. Darcy is out for a morning ride when he happens upon Elizabeth Bennet in the woods. Seeing Miss Bennet fall and injure her ankle, Mr. Darcy rushes to her aid. (When reading Falling for Mr. Darcy be prepared to swoon here).

This scene picks up shortly after Elizabeth’s fall. Mr. Darcy must now get this bewitching woman with fine eyes safely home.

It was refreshing to see Mr. Darcy able to joke with Elizabeth. However, are these jocular times going to last once face to face with Society’s and familial expectations?

In order to discover if Elizabeth is able to fall for Mr. Darcy, besides physically, and if Mr. Darcy is able to disregard his duty for the one he loves, you must read Falling for Mr. Darcy.

Are there any memorable scenes or novels where Mr. Darcy took part in playful banter with Elizabeth that have stuck in your mind?

  1. I love hearing Darcy's thoughts in this book, like the one you've just read. Nice job!

I love the shirt you're wearing, too!

  2. I love your shirt! Oh yeah, and Mr Darcy. Lol Lizzy got caught lookin'! :P

I love scenes where he learns how to tease her and takes her by surprise because she doesn't think he has it in him. I'm trying to think of some example but my mind is all consumed with the scene you just read and his dimples! Sigh...

    1. Yes, Monica! I love that she gets caught looking. I agree, I love it when he takes her by surprise too! :) other great scenes escape my mind now too, but I think I will do what I have been doing more often these days and blame it on my delicate condition! ;)

  3. I wanted to say the same about your shirt (or dress) as well. Lovely colours! Suit you very well!

I have the same problem like Monica, trying to think of scenes, but this keeps poping back up into my mind. The novel sounds like a great read!
